Again, this still doesn't answer the "what if" question

There are two possibilities and no evidence which of them is the case:

(a) If not for our win over Duke, they would have ranked us a few spots lower, resulting in our being left out of the tournament

(b) They did not consider our win over Duke at all and the spot we received is exactly the same as the spot we would have received had we lost to Duke

The fact that they released their final rankings doesn't tell us anything about what those rankings would have been if we had lost to Duke.

You can ASSUME that choice (a) is true ... and I would hope that (a) is true because (b) is silly. But we have no actual evidence either way that I'm aware of.
